Students @ Grandview
Training the physicians of tomorrow is a Grandview tradition that began more that 80 years ago. Now affiliated with the Ohio University Centers for Osteopathic Research and Education (OU-CORE), we offer a wide variety of clinical rotations that attract students across the nation. If you are a 4th year student interested in doing an elective to preview a residency at Grandview, we invite you to apply for an externship.

 Help with Expenses
Recognizing that finances are limited for many medical students, we are committed to providing some of the resources necessary for you to come here. In addition to a $100 monthly meal stipend, Grandview also provides $50 per week for housing. At any time during your rotation, you may present proof of housing expenses to Medical Education and you will be given a voucher redeemable for cash at the KH Network Credit Union.
 Housing Regulations
- Medical students may request $50/week for hotel or resident rental expenses. Any other arrangements must be pre-approved by the Manager of Resident Education. Medical Education does not reimburse for sublets or rentals from other medical students.
- A student may request reimbursement at any time after s/he has accumulated $50 in expenses for the current week or wait and be reimbursed at the end of the rotation.
- The student must bring proof of housing expenses to the Medical Education office.
- The Administrative Coordinator will verify the rotation and the Director of Medical Education will issue a voucher to the student. If the Director of Medical Education is not available, the Manager of Medical Education or the Administrative Coordinator may issue the voucher.
- A copy of the expense documentation will be attached to the voucher.
- The student may redeem the voucher for cash at the Grandview branch of the KH Network Credit Union.
